Dead bug stuck in roof brake light!
No idea how it got in there but there is a dead bug in the roof break light. Specifically the area between the light and the rear glass. How can I get in there?

Wait, did you steal my car? I have the same white bug stuck in there too. Haven't had the urge to pull the brake light off to get him out yet.

Yeah it's like a decent sized mosquito or something. No idea how he would fit in through a gap to get in there. Any recommendations on removing the light housing to clean it out in there?

Not from me, haven't even given it a look yet. Every time I see it I say to myself I should do something about that. Doesn't affect my driving though

IDK.
I don't even know WTF it is. Some sort of seed or some shit that blew in and somehow ended up between the gauges and the plastic. I saw it the other day and now I've got to take out the cluster, take it apart and get it out, cause it's not gonna fly. Of course now I'm debating if I want to go ahead and change the cluster color while it's out. I doubt I'll do that, but I am looking for a tach overlay that has oil temp so I can recode the MPG gauge to oil temp and have it be m3 style. Last edited by nsjames; 10-22-2018 at 06:55 PM.. |

Had the same issue. There is a rubber seal on the edge against the glass.
I got help from my brother, I pulled the seal away just enough to get the vacume hose in and sucked the sucker out Bothered me for two years. |

There is a way to remove the plastic and get in there. Do a quick Google search. I have bugs in mine and it was pretty easy to find a guide online. That said, I still haven't gotten around to actually taking care of it.
