My 1/4 Mile Results + Vid

12.575 @ 117.59 mph

It was an awesome night! I will be going again soon. Enjoy the vid.

P.S. Dzenno and I had the fastest cars of the night, it was pretty cool destroyong SRTs, Stangs and ISFs.

good times we need to practice launching...my best 60' was 2.25...just looked over my shifts and i was wrong about my shifting...i actually managed to shift around .35secs most of the time, sometimes even cutting to .28secs...i was looking at RPMs last night instead of throttle on/off...on the AT you get 0.1secs so I'm down about 0.5-0.7 secs in the 1/4 because i'm driving a manual...have to get those shifts down to 0.2 at least somehow i also just realized that my highest boost run was the very last one before close at about 17.5psi steady...all others were at or much less than 17 psi...

with a really good cooldown + better launch + seats out + I'll run 100% meth instead of pure ww fluid (45-50 meth and 50-55 water mix) and I think we'll be able to hit 120s for sure...i had my BT tool on me...we should've really looked at the temps through that, next time we'll do it

good times

oh and it seems we should be shifting at 6200rpm...what a waste for me shifting at 7k all night except the last few runs

Yep I blew a couple of shift using the paddles. There was a definite lag not shifting with the gear lever. I often overshot 6500. So perhaps I need to time the shift right at 6000 to max out the power band.

I agree, we need to do some weight reductions and get there early before the track degrades. I was loosing time all night after the first 5 runs. I was also running pretty hot as I was pushing 18 psi pretty much every run so I would wager that I was pretty heatsoaked. The combination of crap track prep and heatsoak likely hurt me at the end.

To your point Dzenno, we probably need better cool downs. I don't have the benefit of meth so I really will need to have proper cools downs after a couple of passes.

Great runs bro! Not bad for our first of the year. It will get better with practice.

I thought you was going? What happened?

Was it because of the Enzo?

If you're shifts are 0.5-0.7s long, you are loosing 0.2-0.4 seconds of acceleration per shift compared to a fast shifter. Three shifts and it's like you are off the throttle for 0.6-1.2 seconds longer than necessary during the entire run. Just work on that and you'll pick up another 2mph in trap speed easy. Nothing to do with your meth mixture.

Did you datalog ignition advance? Did you run race gas and meth? Or just u pump+meth?

Yep we need to set up another time, its too bad you could not make it. Your car and mine should basically be running neck and neck in street trim. What is promising is that we were puting these times down even with shitty track prep. I think with DRs and race gas we could do 11s.

In that case, you can run a MUCH higher UT value. At least 85-90%. FWIW, on 110oct and meth, I run 100% UT.
