Are you looking specifically for a wax or would you consider a sealant?
Can't help you with the wax, as I don't use it. But, for a very durable, user-friendly sealant, I'd heartily recommend the Jeffs Werkstatt products. http://www.jeffswerkstatt.com/index2.php |

I had never used a sealant until i got my E92, but I do like the way Zaino works on my finish. Great product and it lasts a long time.

stupid question what's the different btw sealant and wax? I got the sealant done at the stealership but it seems to be working pretty well by repelling the dirt and water.

In general a sealant is a synthetic product while wax is natural. Looks tend to be a bit different, so personal preference on looks may affect your decision on which to use. Sealants also tend to last longer. Dealer "sealant" is usually a gimmick.
Examples of common waxes include Mothers or Meguiars step 3 Caranauba, p21S or s100, Meguiars #16 , etc Common sealants: Zaino, Megs NXT, Mothers Synwax, DG 105, Klasse SG, etc |

For AW i would probably use optimum car wax since it is durable, easy to use, and looks great. p21s or zaino would also look great.

I use Mother's FX Synwax (synthetic wax) on my AW and I love it............easy to use, simply wipe on and let dry and then wipe off (hardly any white residue is left on car)................around $9-$10 from Walmart.......

Also, the above comments on AW (aquawax) are no joke. It is a spray wax that looks incredible and rather inexpensive. I tend to use it once to twice a month as a "booster" and it takes me all of ten minutes to do the entire car. And that's if I take my time! Just some comments of what some users over at autopia think http://autopia.org/forum/detailing-p...hlight=aquawax I'm telling you, if you can get your hands on this stuff at your local Car Quest give it a try. Oh, crap, I'm starting to sound like a zainonite |
