Mine doesn't

More BMW cost cutting - they have also removed storage nets from the back of the front seats, torch from the glove box, can chiller in armrest, ipod holder under armrest with 6FL option. Bloody tightwads

Craig, 50 miles is plenty to charge your battery, there was no need to take it out.

You could also have used the jump connector (big terminal with red cover) under the bonnet for charging without removing the battery.

50 miles should be yes .... but the disc was still black, and I kinda didn't trust it if you know what I mean.

Yes I could have charged direct, but I don't have a garage next to my house, and the one I have has no power running into it. (Military House, etc, etc)

While washing the car today I made a point of checking my LCI for a keyhold in the boot. It's there. Mine is a September 2008 build.

Bit late to the party...................But i guess you've never thought about locking your glove box? And/or how to achieve that 'without a key'

Glad you got it sorted

The plastic service key (ideal for the wallet) is no longer issued with the current UK 320D M-Sport 59 reg motor.
