In search of N55 335i cold air intake
Looking for a used air intake setup for a 2011 N55 335i. Could anybody point me in the right direction. Couldn't find any in the classifieds. Thank you

I've got the Injen intake and love the sound it makes!

I didn't know there were even any cold air intakes for the n54/n55.... I believe there are only short ram intakes as there's no room to route the piping for a CAI.
Anyways as others have said bms!

I have a used one
Good timing. I just removed my Injen CAI and went back to stock and may just use a K&D, go with BMS or leave it stock.
It's black, I bought it in January 2015 and installed it shortly after and it's run less than 4k miles as my car is not a DD. I have the receipt, shipping docs and instructions too. Shoot me a PM with an offer. |

+1 Love my injen intake I switched from a bms intake , I feel the difference to be honest. I just hate how it has bad clearance, I had it installed by a great shop and one the first hood close it scratched and even put a den into the intake piping

Intake will add around 10 whp up top on an FBO car. Car needs to have tune + downpipes in order to see gains

Not with FBO. Unless you have a dyno that proves otherwise

In the grand scheme of things, an intake provides nominal gains. You can get similar gains just by using a more free flowing drop in filter:
http://www.hpashop.com/HPA-E9X-N55-H...er-e9x-n55.htm Harold has posted the results of this filter vs the OE filter on the forum - do a search. A tune will give you much more significant gains.
