question for those with factory CIC/Combox

Hey everyone,

So it seems that BMW Online is not working anymore for those with retrofitted Combox/CIC. Does anyone here have a factory CIC/combox setup with BMW connected that they can test?

Yup. Used mine yesterday with no issues.

have you signed up to it? mine hasn't worked, then i emailed BMW to get added to it.... not check the car yet but will when i get to the car this week and check

would always say something like currently not available try again later

In the US older combox telematic will not work because US carriers have started turning off older network technology that they use. There is a hardware update available, this thread is about the X3 but same issue basically. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=934149

I’m assuming you’re talking about features requiring mobile data?

Mine stopped working about a month ago. I'm in the US and retrofitted.
