Harmon Kardon or Logic 7 Sound System 330I
I owned a 330i back in 2009 and it had a logic 7 sound system. I knew this because it was noted in the Idrive. I just bought another 330i. When I look on the Idrive, it says nothing about what sounds system I have.
It has tweeters and center speaker. Do I still have a logic sound system? |

that helped! It says "HiFi System Professional DSP" So I guess no logic 7 sound system? Also, it says I have "Preparation BMW satellite radio". Can I easily activate Sirius radio? |

Its the same thing all 06 330's e90's came with logic 7
DSP pro is the same thing. (well at least in the US) Prep means the wiring is in place but not the module. If you bought something that is not an e90 like an F series 330 then it could be anything you have to be more specific about the model number and year . |

How come my old 330i "Logic 7" appeared in the idrive? I can't seem to find it. I guess it doesn't matter. Just curious to why my old car had it noted.
Can I get the module for cheap off ebay? Is it easy to install? |

Maybe the idrive guys have and answer. They used to call the top stereo in an e46 and HK even had the labels on the tweeters but it wasn't Logic 7 surround sound as I recall. Also there is and entire e90 stereo subforum here. http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=27 |

If you have the prewiring option, you’ll need a Sirius module, bracket, fan, and a few screws. There’s also a little wiring and coding to do. I have a post in the audio forum about it, and there are a number of other good threads there also.

That’s for LCI cars where the sat prep option means the sat tuner is built into the head unit. Pre-LCI cars with the sat prep option still need the separate tuner hardware installed, but the coding can be done free in NCSExpert.

Sat radio on pre lci cars requires a $40 but with coding to be installed in the back of the car. IMO Apple music is much better and cheaper than Sat radio.
