n00b- how to get white angel eyes?

Hiya,

I'm a total noob when it comes to lighting, so I need someone to educate me. I have a stock E90 335i LCI. Atm, the angel eyes are yellowish. I would like white angel eyes like on the 335is. I have Xenons.

What do I do? The logical thing to me seems to go and swap the bulb. Will this work? What bulb do I need?

What confuses me is all this "HID Ballast" stuff, etc. - what is this good for?

Thanks!

You can purchase an H8 hyperwhite bulb for a cost effective upgrade or you can go to an LED for a more pure white output.

Im in the same boat, im looking to purchase white angel eyes also and it looks like the lux get the most reliable reviews.

Any dealers are welcome to send me a pm with prices for angel eye replacements for my 09 335xi sedan

Go with LUX 5.1. I have LCI lights on mine and it looks great. I'm a noob at them too, but they produce low heat and have yet to had a problem with them.

Also if you but the LUX for the LCI swap the grommets with the stock halogen grommets to make installation a lot easier. The grommets that came on the LUX are a little too thick IMO.

Buy from E92-Lighting. Derrick has good service as this is where I got my Nokya's for my fogs. I have the MTEC V2's and love them for the AE's.

I don't think you can get Mtec's for an LCI.

Which LUX's fit an 07 e90 pre-LCI sedan? On the Namotorsports website, it says LUX 4's are what fits my car, but from what I've been reading, it's been the 5's. Can anyone verify this for me please?
