looks like the bad karma is spreading around. My old man got pulled over in his CTS-V, but in his case, it is very loud. corsa sport, kooks headers, 600 horsepower at the wheels. heres how the story goes
Cop pulls my dad over but cant see his face (20% tint on the windows) cop approaches car with hand on gun cop realizes my dad is a 60 year old (not the guy you would expect to be driving an all black out V) cop then asks my dad to rev the car for him cop proceeds to tell my dad he loves the sound, "i though you were some young hot head, no problem have a nice day" Looks like they're just out to target young men with nice cars, he also told my dad the car is too low BUT ITS THE STOCK HEIGHT!!!!! i have had the same problem for excessive noise with my w7 subs. here is the problem, the law states that houses (if youre having a party lets say) can make noise up until 11pm, but i get tickets in the day time for having loud bass!!! lets spread awareness of this matter This is getting ridiculous |

I'm in as well if a group buy is arranged. I'm sure it will fill fast.

Sorry this happend to you OP. I had a similar situation with my last car. Car had stock exhaust system with an intake. Got pulled over by a cop saying it was loud. I told him my car was all stock. He told me "well figure it out but its loud."
Took my car to a local shop, put in on a lift, took pictures of the exhaust, gave the guy 10 bucks and told him to write me a receipt saying its a stock exhaust. When I took it to court, I didnt say a word besided showing the judge the paper and receipt. Case dismissed. Waste of time brother. Hope you get this resolved.

This may be a bit off topic, but if you do get one of these BS tickets, or any ticket for that matter and you 'win' in court, assuming you had to take time off work in order to make the court date, can you get the province/city to pay for wasting your time @ your hourly rate? I mean, these cases are baseless, who's responsible?

What they do all day is catching good citizens on the road so they can rob $$$, they probably get commission from it and have monthly quota that they need to meet, just like a bank salesperson!!! The worst part is they NEVER GET INVOLVED WHEN YOU NEED HELP |

I've been through so many of these tickets with my old accord and it had a loud fart can exhaust which WAS improper. Ask for disclosure, ticket will get tossed 100% I've had maybe 8 of them tossed from doing this.

Try saying innocent and see how fast the court gets upset - there's a reason they don't like that word. You are absolutely entitled to be compensated for your time in the form of a counter claim however you have to learn why and how for yourself. Lawyers generally have no clue about that. Also, from the posted video I can clearly see one code of conduct violation. Again, you need to spend the time learning what is a code of conduct, how to conduct your own self in court, and who (if anyone) has jurisdiction over you. It's fun to learn but until that time, you're best sticking to hired help. |
