I'm positive I connected the correct wires. I'll check it again just to be very sure.

Yep, I PMed Marc about this.

I stay in LIC NY on weekdays and free most nights after work. Any chance we could meet sometime this week? Just a thought.

Possibly. Im driving the bmw for the next few days as I kinda went rallying around NYC with the beater last night, hitting every steel plank in the city and every sinkhole.....front end sounds like its going to fall off the car if I drive it anymore...I figure sometime after wednesday, as Im going to fix my car that day at work...

Crap, I just noticed how close you were. I could easily stop by and check things out for you. I thought you were in LI, if youre in Robbinsville, youre only 7 mins away from me.

It's not too late Alex. I'm actually about to redo my wirings as I know did a sloppy job on it. I bought some wire connectors and 14 and 16 gauge wires. I'm about to head back to my garage to do this. Come on down if you're free. You can definitely help improve this as I'm new to this. I'll send you a PM and my address if just in case.

It was nice meeting you Alex yesterday. Thanks for dropping by. You got a clean / awesome car man. AW is so pretty. Then when you took off, I fell in love with your exhaust! Or was it the exhaust or an intake sound? The sound/tone was awesome. I need to get one as well.

Here's my update btw (also posted to the other error-specific thread in cosmetics section).

Unfortunately, everything else (all errors in my original post other than the signal turn issue) is failing. This is after redoing the wirings and making use of butt splice connectors and those snap-in connectors that plugs and snaps into the headlight plug unit. I didn't have the snap-in connector for the ground wire so I used the same connector for bi-xenon and modified it to make it useable.

Last night when I was driving, the errors (#1 and #2 on original post and the annoying error sound that chime every 10 secs) came up after I started the car. But about 10mins after starting car, I was error-free for about 40mins but also during this time I noticed that the light output was not as bright.

Anyone knows the part #s for the ground wire snap-in connector that goes into the headlight plug? Unfortunately I don't have a picture of this as I was in a rush to get my wirings done yesterday.

Matt was right. I had a wrong connection! I attached #5 into #12 instead of #6. But after fixing it and redoing the wirings the errors still did not go away.

Did you try resetting everything by disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting it after 30 mins.?

yea you MAY need to let it sit for a bit so it resets. or might have to go to the dealer to get the codes deleted.

I have not tried the battery reset yet. I'll probably do this tonight. Where do I find the battery cable btw?

It's in the trunk on the right hand side. Just take out the tool set holder and the battery is underneath and just remove the negative wire.
