Question 335i coupe rims what is the difference...

hi

i was wondering what is the difference betwen these 2 rims: 8 J x 19 225/35 R 19, 9 J x 19 Zoll, 255/30 R 19, and 8 J x 18 Zoll, 225/40 R 18, 8,5 J x 18
255/35 R 18, i would like to know when you have rims 18 inches and if you have rims 19 inches, and what is the difference when you driving on a road is there any kind of not soft driving, maybe you can feel big shake when you going with 19 inches and if you drive 18 inches its more comfortable???

Thank You for answering

p.s i am making attachment

from my experience your not going to have any different ride quality going with the 19's instead of 18's.an inch just isn't going to make that big of a difference.

19'' will be harsher. 17'' will actually provide the best performance.

thank you guys for helping, so you say that 19 inches is not so good, 18 inches maybe then is best? Maybe you have 335i coupe with 19 iches? My brother has SUBARU WRX impreza and this car is harsher, so you say that 335i can become like subaru, i mean you can feel like you driving subaru?

18'' is a good mix of looks and performance. Probably little difference than 17'', but there's a reason that for press touring BMW uses a 17'' wheel, it just feels smooth.

A lot of it also depends on the type of tire you use. Don't cheap out on tires. For any car from $1000 to $100,000, four pieces of rubber connect it to the road. Don't cheap out.

I've blistered 2 right front tires in less than 4k miles with my stock 18's Winters in the NE are brutal. I love the look of the 19's but would think twice.

+1,000

A car's only as good as the rubber that connects it to the ground.

Yeah, I find it funny people will spend $3500 on their wheels then buy $120 all weather tires. That's just stupid.

+1, there is NO difference in ride quality from 18 to 19. At least not that a street driver can notice. Especially if you are NOT a professional.

18 is the best of both worlds. People say oh theres no difference from 18 or 19. Get the same tires and test them on the 19 and 18 rims. The 18 feels much better. IMO.
