BM Technic White edition cable
Has anyone gotten this cable to work?
http://bmtechnic.co.uk/bmw-diagnosti...white-edition/ I"ve read that some people have used it and it works properly. It also states it on their site that it works. For some reason, I get errors using the cable. I had ******84 try to help but he suggest that the cable won't work. Just wanted to see if anyone else had it working before I try and return it. |

Finally figured it out. The problem was that I didn't set my JB4 to Map 0. Everything works now and I successfully coded the digital speedometer. I was going to do the Alpina flash but I believe I have to update my daten files first. I didn't see any options to choose the ECU GKE215. I'm using the BM Technic software package so I'm not sure what spdaten version it's on currently. Where can I check?

Yea, I figured I'd give it a shot because nothing else was working. Can't believe that was the problem all along. Thanks for all your help though. I think I got the handle of coding now. I did the Alpina Flash last night and everything went smoothly.
