difference in brakes between xdrive and non xdrive

Can someone tell me the difference in brakes/rotors between for a 335i xdrive and a 335i w/o xdrive?

From looking at different brake kits and even separate parts, I see that some are for the xdrive and others for non xdrive, especially the front. I also see where some kits and separate parts do not list as xdrive specific. So is there really a difference, if so what is that difference?
