I called the dealer here in Toronto and they quoted me for 2 hours of work @ CAD$336 + tax to update the software on my DDE.

Does any one know someone who does software updates in Toronto area?

Wow, that is nasty. The didn't go for the preventative flashing of the FRM? Definitely contact Jarek in Oakville (chiptuning.ca).

Does anyone know if updating the integration level on the DDE results in losing a tune?

Running JR 2.5 but my i-level is one older than needed to do the adaptation.

So, I got the zero-mass adaption setup by the dealer on Friday and I drove the car about 120+ miles and same issue just came back up? Has anyone out here had the same issue? Why this problem keep coming back?

I just got the code 4AD5 tonight out of the blue. I am tuned and deleted. What's the best method to handle this?

Update? Did the reprogramming of the DDE fix the injector and rough idle problem as the Service Bulletin said?

Any good recommendations on shops to do this in Utah?

For me, yes it did. If your i-level is rather old, you could probably benefit from this.

Hey there— I’m also in Utah and had the 4AD5 code randomly show up today. Can you share how you resolved this? I’m stock with a 2011 335d and have ISTA+ and Carly. TIA

How do you tell what your I-level is? Can you update it with a new enough ISTA version?

Yup, but I wouldn't be using a K+DCAN cable...
