Road dyno in 4t gear. 2100 bar rail pressure, no rail or boost codes/ limps. Road dyno is the actual weight of the car accelerating in real conditions. Not just turning a 2,000 lb dyno wheel Oh and running a 100psi map sensor and a 100psi exhaust manifold pressure sensor that are scaled to accurately read boost and emp |

He’s got lots of tricks up his sleeve. I talk to him often. He also works with Derek DWR and we all know who was the EGS champion to get transmissions mapped. The difference is these guys actually cracked the hex and wrote their own tune. And when you do that you can control anything.

Has anyone compared how much the BRR tune smokes compared to JR or Malone?

I've never seen the other tuners WOT but I don't see any smoke unless I'm about 4,300 rpm or higher and it's like a haze.

Fortunately, I live down the way from Ryan and known him for quite a few years now. Great guy, constantly perfecting his craft, and am super impressed with the progress made. Worked a ton with him in his shop...started with our turbo'd e30s and e36s, now onto the M57 platform.
My '12 X5d was first tuned by BPC prior. It's now BRR tuned, and nasty family hauler! So little smoke, and making great power. Latest tune was installed last night...very happy. Each iteration is getting better. Simpy put, the power output and driveability outclassed that competitors. My '11 335d is full bolt on with every ATM treat, Torqbyte meth configured by Ryan, BRR tune, and tranny map from Derek. Just saying...come at me bro, I've hurt lots of feelings in this car. Can't wait for his next map to take even more advantage of the meth. I'm not super active on here, but can PM me for any info, and can help you get in touch with Ryan as well. |

Just got a BRR tune on my X5. I think I'll make a new thread for the review, but I'm definitely not disappointed in the tune.

Another happy customer
Customer and his wife drove down from NY, they arrived Saturday at 10am. BRR provided a loaner vehicle then got to work performing significant performance and maintenance mods/ repairs to this clean 335d. Customer returned Sunday at around 2 to a completely new vehicle and drove the 8+ back home to NY. Blue line was stock pull when car was dropped off. Red was after mods/ repairs were completed. Same car, same road, same direction with SAE correction for actual environmental data. EGR delete DPF delete Thermostat Glow plug module Vacuum lines Swirl delete Tune Cleaned intake New intake gaskets Replace HP turbo oil line Moved EGR N75 to turbo Cut/ fit SCR delete Removed F&R brakes Changed oil/filter Topped off coolant Install B12 suspension Install new brakes Test drive/ Road dyno |

What about some 1/4 mile times (trap-speed) or other gps measurment, especially if you are using virtual dyno in different gears ... Regards |

Those Dyno sheets look pretty impressive, if they're good. I'd like know how fast the car(s) actually are, too. I was considering going back to Andrew for an upgrade one of these days, but...

That’s me and yes I am a very happy customer. I’m happy to have met the tuner. I got a chance to spend some time at the shop, also I got to ride on one of their personal builds from one of the technicians. Fantastic experience and the guy did a fantastic job on the car he even found a few things that were extra and went above and beyond to make the car right for me. The car now is literally Berserk!!!!! I really appreciate the time he took and the opportunity I had to own a piece of quality work for my vehicle thank you.
And I also want to give a shout out to the guy up in Canada who did the custom exhaust It was beautiful. I never want to drive another car again other than this 335d it’s awesome. Quote:
