I've wanted one for some time but finally found a nice deal on a brand new one. Will try out tomorrow, curious to see how a C-More red dot does on it.

Yeah as a gun lover, I am wish listing parts and its like so this stock is an SBR requires a stamp, $$$, etc. but this brace looks like a stock no stamp and no money.

Makes no sense.

Yeah, you can even shoulder it like a true stock as well. ATF has seemingly flipped a couple times already, so I put in the SBR paperwork and once cleared and stamped I'll get a Magpul adjustable stock for it. Not sure how long this flimsy brace will hold up anyway!

When I first got into guns, it confused the hell out of me that "rifle-looking" guns are actually pistols in most cases.

I guess I blame video games. Teaches you everything is a pistol, submachine gun, shotgun, or rifle.

I just picked up a CZ Scorpion and to my gun loving 2nd amendment self, this is not a pistol even stock. A Glock is a pistol.

Heh nice. Took the ACE to the range today just to try it out at 25 yards. Put exactly 140 rounds down range and the rifl....err pistol did fantastic. Zero stoppages and the weapon has the smoothest action in recent memory. That .308 really shakes the room, everybody was coming over to see what the deal was! All in all quite happy with it, pretty pricey for a glorified AK but the quality is definitely there. Looks pretty nice imho too!

Plans are to NOT SBR it, will probably get a pistol brace, red dot sight (probably venom), 30 round mag because the 20 is a little two short for the look, and finally a silencer if I can find a good quality cheaper one (a silencerco one costs more than this gun cost me)

I just got my venom in the mail yesterday, it looks perfect on there. went with the 3moa dot.

Seriously.

When I saw the photo and read “.308”, my ears were already ringing.

For sure! Here is what I use, they're fantastic. I bought my dad a set too because he's older and hard of hearing, and with the low level sound amplification I don't have to scream at him.

Can't post this in the "Last Items You Bought" thread, so I figured I'd stick it here.

Company that makes these little lights was having a 40% off sale, they get good reviews online, so I figured I might as well try one out for under 50 bucks.

Throws a nice bright beam and isn't anywhere near as bulky as some of the more costly alternatives. It also has a quick release lever that makes it a snap to rotate from gun to gun. Other cool part is that silver ring on the underside...that's where a magnetic charger attaches to it. That's right, no battery replacements. Now would I use this light if I was some hardcore, door-kicking operator? Probably not, but it seems like a solid piece of kit for a nightstand gun.

I love it so far, hoping to get it to the range this weekend. I posted a pic a few spots above with all the other mods, i'll have to grab one with the venom and stock when my stamps arrives.

Serious question, is that point for a look or incase you ever need to stab someone in a home defense situation? or both?

I did buy a used Rem 1100, ($250)researched it thru Rem. Its an 1100 / 20 gauge, straight barrel, made in Jan 1970. Not overly used and not overly cleaned in its life. Wanted a 20 gauge that was 8rds, semi, ez load, synthetic stock, no more than 20" barrel, 2 3/4 or 3" shells.
It took about 3 months to collect parts, clean, scrub, clean, inspect, oil, touchup blue, READ, cut barrel to 20", + speed loader, mag ext., new seals, fat safety, contoured bolt handle, hang on receiver shell carrier, safety checked functions........ and took it to the range !

Load, chamber, safety off, pull trigger= Boom X 8 . . . . Works GREAT ! ! !

The ones with multiple points or teeth are called "standoffs" and are used to brace the barrel against a doorframe for the purpose of shooting off the door hinges. I believe the single point on his shotgun is more for looks or a "back off or I'll stab you and not even have to waste a round"

Spikes Tactical sells their "SnowFlake" lower receivers with that awesome paint fill as an option.

Pulled the AR out to make an adjustment to the stock and made a quick vid of the (Elf) trigger action. Obviously I made sure the rifle was safe before I made this video.

You're killing me! I'm trying to resist the urge to pick up their matched upper/lower receiver to start a 6.5 Creedmoor build!
