Suggestions for my 328i

Looking to do some exterior and maybe some interior mods. Its a 2008 328i 6MT with sport package and all I've done to the exterior so far is the Avant Gardes and swapped out the stock kidneys for polished black. Interior is stock. Anybody have any suggestions or pictures of what they've done for some inspiration? Thanks in advance!

I added the split armrest and the Turner cutch stop and both were excellent interior mods.

I love my armrest now that it slides close enough to actually be useful. Leather is much nicer than the stock one too.

The clutch stop eliminates the dead spot and makes shifting much smoother and more fun too. Best bang for the buck at less than $15 as well.

I have the clutch stop and I agree! It does it make much smoother to drive. I never thought about the split arm rest, did you order from ECS?

Got mine through forum member Irwie'C for about $250 shipped, if I recall. Top notch.

Here is his thread, if you want one:

Here is a photo of it in my car.

Clutch stop, cdv delete, and weighted shift knob together make a great improvement!

I did pedals too for added grip and better looks.

You can wrap your interior trim, and also change the shift and handbrake boot to real leather or Alcantara

Outside, lower, tint, splitters, trunk lip, are most common.

Yeah I've been looking at different shift knobs and boots, I think I like the perforated M leather more than the alcantara, but after reading the forum everyone seems to love the ZHP knob.

Do you have any recommendations for a lip and splitters? Is it safe to order pre painted on amazon or ebay for 80-100?

Also since my car is #475 BSM I feel like I should just match to that instead of doing carbon fiber aero, what do you think?

I like the perforated leather knob also, but I too have the ZHP lol

eBay, it's safe to trust vendor emotors2000

And I agree pre-painted is better than CF on black. I did the same with my jet black splitters and trunk lip.

Pics when done!

JBSpeed on here provides pre-painted splitters as well. I got a set from them and they painted from the paint code. Did a good job and was well-packaged.
