Share your CCA Rebate Timelines

Surprised I didn't see a cohesive thread on this like we see for all of the model-specific production tracking threads (just a couple posts scattered across model-specific forums that aged out pretty far), so I figured I would share my experience and try to help gather some data for others that are patiently waiting.
  • 5/2: Car Delivered
  • 5/8: Rebate Application Submitted (confirmation email stated it has been taking 4 months)
  • 5/11: Application Processed by BMW CCA (notification email stated it has been taking 3 months, sometimes longer, for BMW NA to process)
  • 5/31 (7AM): Received my Daily Digest from the USPS showing a First Class being set to delivery today from BMW NA
  • 5/31 (3PM): Application Approved (well... received a notification from BMW CCA saying that BMW NA approved my application and I should receive a check in 2-4 weeks)
  • 5/31 (7PM): Check Received via USPS (obviously BMW CCA isn't being updated by BMW NA very timely)

Only 3 weeks from submission to receiving my check, this was my 3rd rebate in as many calendar years (definitely getting my money's worth ), and also the quickest turn. The last 2 took about 2 months end-to-end.

I got mine quick also. I took delivery August 18th and received my rebate September 16th. They were also warning of delays and 90 days to process.

You guys are lucky. I have never been able to get a rebate due to BMW incentives.

The rebates were always about two to three weeks from submission to receiving the check.

I'd imagine it depends on the volume being processed at that time, my last two were both at the end of the year and while or just after CCA didn't have a waiting period for those getting a 3 year membership; they took a good 8 weeks or so.

Has anyone received a rebate recently?

I submitted my paperwork back in October and at that time, BMWCCA said, "It has been taking three months (sometimes longer) for BMW NA to process each rebate."

So I'm curious if anyone has received one recently and what their timeline was like. Thanks!

I can supply my own update! I received my check from BMW NA today. It took just under 13 weeks. Looks like they cut the check on Friday would would make it exactly 12 weeks from when BMWCCA approved my submission and passed it along.

Got my last one quickly, too. About three weeks from online submission to check in the mail.

Took delivery of my car 4/30/21 - had my rebate in about 2 weeks. 3 months now? Supply chain issues?

Definitely something with the time of the year as a couple of my November and December rebates weren't paid until January while March and May were paid quickly... could be a backlog, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's budgetary.

I submitted my rebate in Oct 2022. I received the rebate in about 3 weeks after submission. It was much quicker than the last time I did it.

I think that a lot of people took delivery the last part of the year because of all the delays. So I think it was just a backlog.
