1stNew.. All that technical guff... It's not the tech behind the dust cover mate, it's the way you grab the wand, push up and down and suck. Clear and simple.
Not blowing my own trumpet here, but having had lots of practice with me wand, I'd place myself as one of the best suckers around... If there's a Sucking Talk, sorry Torque, meet near me then I'm in... |

Now listen you vacuum obsessed torque bullsh**ers. I'm not having any of your wand waving antics at our Northern meet. We still use a classic dustpan and brush with optional floor mop attachment up in't grim north, so take your fancy machines and 12.5 turbo charged prove it to me carpet-sucking fookwhars up your collective a**es. :finger:

I'd recommend the classic route.
'Bex Bissell' have recently reintroduced their classic sweeper. Obviously the handling and performance are nothing like the modern 'root cyclone' vacs, but it has zero emissions and would look sensational on your drive: http://www.bissell-secure.co.uk/site/pdfs/32.pdf It says in the literature that it picks up almost anything. Somehow I doubt that. For instance it probably couldn't pick up a lion .... or Cheryl Cole. |

Sorry, if it's not one of these then whats the point? Speed is nothing without finesse...
Gentlemen, I give you ... The Electrolux Trilobite 2.0 this robotic king of vacuums will do all the sucking you ever need while never needing to switch off cruise control - if it could cook it truly would be a replacement for the missus. |

I remember owning a Bex 'Bisexual'** Bissell in the 70's. Sure, I had some go faster stripes put on and a local garage had reduced the sprocket ratio by 2.5 to give me a higher brush rotation, but I'd never go back to those 'manual' days.
I much prefer not to have to handle my wand myself nowadays, now that I'm older and can afford to pay someone else to handle my wand, then that's what I do. But when it come's to the man stuff, and kicking Boofoorty's arse down aisle 3 of Carpetright past that last remnant of 99p Per sq.Mtr. Mock Tudor Stone Vinyl... then that's worth grabbing my wand and pushing till I'm blue in the face... **That's what my spellchecker suggested... |
