Ping them an email, but I bought BPC, and I'm happy.

Installed my 3-stage intake manifold the other day and got an updated tune from BPC. I'm loving this engine more and more now. The toque and power from 3000rpm onwards is superb. I can't get enough of these pulls to 7000rpm. Really impressed with the manifold and BPC tune once again.

Only problem now is too much power for my stock suspension. So much body roll when taking turns fast... hoping for some Eibachs and eventually Koni yellows

I also picked up a revo hose which I plan to install this weekend along with carbon delete. We'll see if I notice difference!

no . But people waste their money in all sort of things , so if you have spare cash sure why not.

wait a month or 2 till you'll get used to and you'll want more power , its a vicious circle. Never enough

You will notice a difference.

Intake noise will be louder and car will appear to rev more freely.

When doing carbon delete, I would recommend to take your time and remove (even sand it down) as much of it as possible. Stupid thing tends to become dusty. I don't think it would mess up your MAF, but why take that risk.

Red is the Injen Intake - great gains in the midrange, probably should have used a heatshield or made a box.

Blue is the AFE - huge gains in the mid range, and best top end power

Green is the stock box (Charcoal filter removed, worth 2whp) and a AFE dry filter.

Well...I would have if I were you, but it depends on your plans. I would be asking AA if they actually plan on updating their tune (which they said they would) before I completely jump ship.

Thanks for the dyno Axiom! What other mods does this car have? Also I saw somewhere that the Revolution hose is worth 2whp plus you can get 5 or more from a homemade dinan-style ram air intake.

It was a single stage manifold, OETuning tune and what was listed above. No rev hose or silencer delete though.

Wow that was 220whp on single stage manifold? That's higher than I thought...

What kind of power do you expect I will make with 3im, k&n filter, rev hose, carbon delete, and BPC tune?

That was the old car, it made something like 232whp with the 3 stage and stock intake.

Current car is around 250whp with headers/intake/exhaust/etc

Baseline was about 212-214whp.

By baseline do you mean stock hp? Isn't this engine supposed to be 230hp at the crank? 212whp would be only 8% drivetrain loss...

I guess so. I can say it was up compared to the E90 330iA and the dynos for the 335i cars are pretty spot on.

Sorry, I forgot to make a pics of my intake. Btw I got euro box with silicone tube and scoops.
I found some pics for you to show you how exactly that tube looks like on car as a replacement or OEM plastic tube. 1st pic shows regular plastic tube and on rest of the pics you can see silicone one.

Same here, no response.

Edit to add- Checked my inbox, had a few replies. Seems AA may be close with information, the n52 tune work is continuing as we speak (beta testing is happening). I may do some testing soon
Reality is our beloved N52 is a small part of any companies business, I doubt it is the big pot-o-gold profit maker we think it is. Still, I love it. A better tune will just make it better.

The new tune was described as making decent low end power (even without headers). I believe soon they will have something for those who wait, they found a little improvement.
