Golf tee mod deja vu
Over the years i have read about the golf tee mod. I guess you just disconnect a vaccum line at the muffler or disconnect the accuator plug in the rear light access area in the trunk.
So, those of you who tried it are you still using it or was it a short term gimmick to add throaty tones to the muffler? I have a n52/e93 66k miles. Mikey |

Also it opens at such a low speed I doubt it would make a difference either. |

I have stock exhaust with gold tee and JB4 menu 10 set to zero. Exhaust is throaty, very low pitched, pops/backfires on downshift, and burbles on lift. Stock ECU, no MHD, no BEF (yet).
It sounds absolutely fantastic, but without pissing off the neighbors. And without hurting the environment unnecessarily. |

Was one of the first mods I did to my 335. Made a difference that I just got used to over time. Not a huge deal but definitely not the way to go if you're looking for an overall exhaust tone change.
