Cable Duct aka Power Cable Holder Loose

Hello Fellow E9X N52 owners, my Cable Duct aka Power Cable Holder is loose on my engine bay, I noticed it when I opened the hood & check everything & I noticed it hanging loose. My hood still closes fine normally, but I tried reattaching it back on & it wouldn't go back in, I'm kind of worried of it falling off & something will make a knocking noise. I have pictures as well

Nothing to worry about from a safety perspective. It's caused by the slots on underside of the cowl that supports the pollen filter housing braking off. It's a very common problem - mechanics tend to lean on it when changing the pollen filter and snap the brackets off. The only solution is to buy a new cowl - No. 2 in this diagram:

So there's no way I can snap it back in like I have to buy a new piece?

Unless you have the broken pieces and can glue them back in place...

I don't have the other pieces with me

glue never works in that environment anyhow. I've tried.

run a zip tie around the cable tray and through whats left of the tab molded on the cowling.

I figured out why it snaps off Or breaks is because, mechanics tend to lean on it & then it could break a clip.

It hurts nothing and doesn't make any noise if it isn't secured to the cowl. I haven't run my cowl in a long while.

Just discovered this after I thought I invented a ziptie solution for this issue. New-to-me e90--the life, indeed.
