I really want a BT cable just to play around with. In a short amount of time, the AccessPORT will be able to clear codes across all the modules.

I also need a coding cable to play with.

I'm not saying the Euro intake will jack anything up; I'm just stating my opinion that the intake will amount to almost jack for actual gains on the NA motor. Can you really feel 4HP?

Ahh I see, very true. That sure does make it easier to place priority on my list now haha. I guess I'll get suspension then

Got new tips. Highly recommend Pronto Muffler off of 75 and Park(ish). Michael also got his done there and I've used them before in the past too. Looks so much better...

And of course +5 HP. More than my DP's according to Cobb dyno. :P (Had to throw that in there)

Tips look great Michael! What tips are they? Size? I've been wanting to change mine for a while now.

Cyba 3.8 chrome! Bought them from someone but new they are like 99 shipped. The owner of pronto muffler took one look and said "nice!" to me. Thought that was pretty good coming from a guy that's prob messed with exhausts and stuff for most of his life...

painted them on the car. Used the dupli-color kit. pulled the spring, that was all. It took 3 coats on the front, 2 on the back. Total job 4 hrs.

Yes- those slotted rotors would look sweet.

Not sure how much they go for new...used they were like $350 or something. The ones I linked was Rotora ones. I have to go look at my paperwork but I just got my brakes done and they measured my calipers. Halfway hoping they were starting to wear but I doubt it :/ Feel wasteful getting new ones when I don't need them at all...

Thanks Assassin! Line of the night was uttered by the Super Swede Johan while doing the third wheel- "dude- that is definitely worth about 15 hp". After 5 beers- slayed me.

Figures, it will probably rain Thursday afternoon.

Sunday was a perfect day for a detail session... I spent 5 hours on the paint with just enough time to finish the following:
  • Wash using Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Clear
  • Wheels, wells and brakes cleaned and degreased using P21S
  • Clayed the surface using Pinnacle Clay
  • Artifact removal using Showroom FX Swirl Eliminator and an orange pad
  • Polish using Chemical Guys Extreme EZ-Creme Glaze with a black pad
  • Sealed using Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 with a blue pad
  • Sealed the wheels using Jetseal 109
  • Topped the paint with Showroom FX "Crystal Black" Carnauba Creme
  • Added a light-gloss detail to the underhood plastics and tires using Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care

I really could have used 3 more hours of daylight but I'm glad I got it done. The Carnauba topper is really intended for dark-colored cars and would look awesome on black but I wanted to try it and just see how it looked on white.

Summary: I love Alpine White again!

I'm somewhat open to the idea of doing a group detail session sometime if we can find an area with good shade, power, water and beer. It's a lot of work and I'm starting to think I should look into some Asian massage service after all that bending, stooping, standing and polishing.

Dang....I'm almost to the point where I'd rather just pay someone that's a pro do it than do it myself...

My time and back is worth that?
