Too bad it isn't the sport seats, but this color combo is almost enough for me to fly out and drive it back, and swap out that horrible walnut wood for brushed aluminum accents.

I posted that one on Sunday along with the link and a picture. The post was commented on also, but for some reason all those posts were deleted from this thread.

They are asking $14900, what does everyone think of price? I also don't know about maintenance as CarFax is not listing anything.

I purchased mine a few months ago.
2011 M sport, 6mt, 110,00, car fax had one accident, no air bag deployed.
Purchased through a BMW dealer. Paid about 12K not including dealer fees.
I could tell the front bumper had been painted. Windshield had many small pits.
Lemans Blue, saddle interior.
I had been looking for over a year. This car happened to be 35 miles from my home. I found them elsewhere but they were all over the country.
* The car was clean, it drove perfectly. The dealer said it was maintained by an enthusiastic owner who bought a new BMW. I wish it had maintenance records but I went ahead with purchase.
Funny thing, just after I purchased this one, there was one advertised in North Carolina. Complete maintenance records. Immaculate, If I had just waited a little longer.....

Good Luck

So I should wait a little longer?...

I feel the price is too high for this one, but not sure what the sweet spot is for bargaining price. Maybe $11k? Also, I would pay a premium for stock M-Sport, sounds like you got a great deal!

My vehicle had incident. Insurance company priced vehicle as total loss. Vehicle needs to get roof replaced. Except that everything is in good working condition. I'm planning to sell vehicle as it is and I'm waiting for best offers.

Yup.. msport is great and all, but you could retrofit that. Auto too.

I would rather retrofit exterior parts than change the interior color, especially when it involves changing the lower dash, center console, carpet and cargo areas. I've done it once for my current E91 and would advise anyone to never do it. Only reason why I was ok with it for mine was because I had the engine and transmission swapped so the whole interior had to come out anyways.

For those interested, Seller suggested I look at his craigslist link, which is expired btw, when I inquired about the car. Might be a good option for local buyers who can inspect in person, but hard to gauge full damage with the close up photos for us out of state. Can't tell if there's any damage pushing down on the pillars based on the photos.

I was mainly looking to buy as a parts car though, but could have potential for someone looking for a salvage title car to just drive.

Appreciate your experience. I agree, swapping the entire interior would be a pain and exterior M-Sport conversion is much easier to do. Trying to be patient for the right one to pop-up.

You'll find the right one with patience. It'll be worth the wait, even if you have to pass on a 6MT because of the interior color, unless you can live with tan or grey. They're just the hardest to maintain, especially since we're talking about a 7-10 year old car that already has its current wear.

Heck, I'd rather have a car repainted than do interior now. There's just too many detail items on the interior that it's not worth it. Granted seat and door panel swap is manageable as long as it's not grey or tan. Those 2 colors are the most work since carpets match the seats. This isn't even discussing the work of sourcing parts either.

If you're serious about selling the car, post more photos of the car's damage further away, provide any estimates for repair or share the insurance company's documented damage.

You have to put some effort into the sale if you want to move it. You told me to refer to your expired craigslist ad. The car didn't sell when it had a clean title with no damage. Now you'll have even less interest with the salvage title, especially when we don't know the extent of the unrepaired damage.

I asked did a tree fall on it since you say everything else is "perfect." Maybe you could clarify since I won't be the only person asking. You only benefit by providing more info, especially in its "perfect" condition with salvage title, and the unclear amount of damage of course..

Just cleared. Updated photos will help. You can't use old photos because that's not the current condition anymore. Just trying to help you bud.

Please be patient. That's all I got for a now. Any local enthusiasts please feel free to contact me to see the car in next few days.

Might as well post a price.

Kudos to you for fronting the expense to repair. How much was the repair cost? 6k-7k? I'm only assuming since the repair cost had to be more than 70-75% value of the car, and insurance usually use automatic cars as comps.

Unfortunately you're going to take a bath on the value now that it's salvage. Only an enthusiast would go for it. 10k~ is an optimistic price imo.

Looks sharp.
Is the interior trim, carbon composite or vinyl wrap?
