yes it smells like bad eggs
for noise i think its extremely loud for me. i ride in my buddy's e92 for 10mins and my head was blowing in the bad way. thats the reason that i will never get an catback with catless downpipe.

Geeze, not even my wife is as big of a drama queen about it. She doesn't even notice the smell.

Bad egg smell is not from running catless , but as far as i remember its from a defective cat system.

My old Mazda used to smell like rotten eggs and it had a defective cat.

I'm running full catless on the 335i and it smells like gasoline , but no rotten egg smell.

back in 2004 when i still have my supra, i can stand for the noise no problem, i had full 4" downpipe+HKS titanium catback(super loud bad boy), but for now i just want as quiet as possible, maybe im getting old haha

I have AR catless dp's and a vanguard catback. I barely notice any smell, only when I walk to the back of the car. The set up is really loud, I have some vibration issues with the exhaust vibrating against the car so I'm going back to the shop to get it adjusted. The exhaust is only loud on initial start up and when you really get on it, at cruising speed it isn't bad and hardly drones. Honestly I think any cat back will be loud, I think its the tradeoff for more power. If anyone knows of a exhaust that is significantly more quiet, let me know.
