Clutch delete valve
Removed the clutch delete valve and installed V6 of Tim's tune
Thanks to Pete Y for noting the CDV delete in his thread, because I didn't know these existed, removed the little faaaarker as it's a pain, I always wondered why I was fishing for the clutch bite point when I was in a bit of a hurry, now that the CDV is gone.... brilliant attached photos of the culprit and the virtual dynos Tim did for my car on v5 of his tune, one from the Aussie mustang dyno setting and one from the US dynajet setting |

I like the fact you didnt try to colour match the main part of it like some others do. Makes it look untidy. Yours looks good !

oil change, brake flush, rear rotor change = buggered
Oil change and oil change of brand from castrol 5-30w to penrite 5-30w which was on supercheap special and comes in a 6litre bottle. yes yes i'll still need another 0.5 litre, why N54 whyyyyy.
High in vitamin zinc, must be good for the N54! haha I can definately vouch for those Mann oil filters, no distortion of the filter pattern unlike the Repco branded oil filters. Good to see the undertray nice and dry too. Brake fluid flush the old fashion way, wife is now certified 3 pumps hold + release brake pedal technician. Used Castrol dot4 super response, wish I had another spare 500ml. Protex branded rear rotors finally installed after hibernation in the garage for a good 6 months. Rubber mullet and hammer helps loosen the old stubborn rotors but then had a quiet chuckle when I realized that the park brakes were still on Can't wait to do the front RDA slotted/dimpled rotors next weekend ! ps: rim rashes were mostly from the old owner!! i swear |

I've used the Penrite 5W 30 on my E46 325, E90 325, E83 2.5 and E92 335. I think it's great. I recently moved to 5W 40 (Castrol this time as was on special) and have found that oil warm up / cool down temps haven't changed much and also that oil consumption has dropped too. Interested to hear your feedback on RDA rotors. Had slotted rotors on a Ford Fiesta about 10 years ago with Greenstuff pads and performance was a day and night difference. Not sure how this set up would run on an E92 / 335 though. |

Good work! I've run Protex discs on my e30 before and they were fine - I've also run Brembo blank discs, and to be honest there seemed no difference at all. Brake fade etc. seemed the same either way, no warping with either of them.
I've also always run Penrite on my BMWs - mostly 10W60 HPR10 with good results. With my N47 I'm going to go with Motul for now (have 6L of 5W40 & a Mann filter already patiently waiting in the shed) just out of fear for the DPF. |

One old original angel eye died on 335 e92 so replaced both with H8 LEDs.
Finicky little job, easy to get out but harder to get new ones in to that tiny little space. |

I cut a bit of plastic out so I could fit an intercooler. Fair bit of space when you cut anything thats plastic out of the way.
