Yea. Like everyone said, just pay it and get point. You can fight but I don't think you can do so much thing about your ticket.
entire court system is so nasty so they won't do your favor. They will just messing you up. I would just do what they want you to do. And take defensive driving class. It will reduce up to 4 points on your record and 15% off for the insurance.

Dude write not guilty. Then they will send you a trial date. One you get that one, a day or two before postpone it. After you get that trial date, postpone it again, and see if you can get another trial date. The longer you postpone the less chance the cop will show. Ive done that 6 times for 6 different tickets and 3 out of 6 didnt show up. Also the longer you postpone then the cops will probably postpone as well. Only thing is you will have to pay $40.00 upfront on your 3rd time as a bond securing that you will show up. Thats the best advice I can give you. Or get a lawyer who will charge you up the ass and do the same thing I just told you.

Just because you have a clean record doesnt mean anything. All it means it you might get less points. You will still pay a nice fine.

If it was a highway cop your up shits creek. he will most likely show up since they are the bread and butter for the city. If a highway cop loses to many cases he loses his motorcycle privledges.
