All,

just wanted to say whats up. I recently ordered a titanium/coral 335xi coupe with nav/sport/premium/ipod/18s.

I am looking forward to picking up the car. I'm hoping my car is on the Partriot which just left Bremmerhaven although I have a feeling it may not be.

Anyway, I look forward to spending more time on the forum and becoming a member of the BMW community. Also, are there any local GTGs that occur annually or on an ad-hoc basis? Any good drives/events?

Oh yea one other thing, I'm coming from a b6 Audi S4 and before that a 2001 Audi TT (225) AND before that my beloved 1998 Jeep Wrangler haha.

welcome Tom! congrats on the purchase and those audis b4 are very nice! i also had 2 Jeeps before (98 5.9 Grand Cherokee and 94 5.2 Grand Cherokee) so driving a car is totally different! welcome and yes we have weekly meets, some occur at Palisades others wherever....there are a couple in the summer at Bear Mt too, so it would be awesome if you could make it! any questions just ask; we are a friendly bunch.

We had the cliffs of insanity drive with the Audi guys at Bear Mountain... do you guys usually head out to Tobay fest? If not we should get an early spring cruise out robert moses st. pkwy.... nice place to drive and good place for photo shoots

yea same here...i go there for a drive on a normal basis when i get bored hahaha..so im down as long as i know a week or 2 b4 so i can take of from work...
