My thoughts exactly regarding an OEMish wheel and the Apex sizing and offset options. Coincidentally i just picked up some Dakine foam pads for the roof bars.

Here's another angle of the 17x9 +30 fitment. Our daughter thinks it looks the same.

There's been a good handful of e92 M3 front end conversions on the e91 platform, but has anyone ever done an lci e92 m sport front end conversion on an e91?
Just curious...

Picked up a second E91 to compliment my unicorn. It's a pre-LCI N52 Prem/Sport Automatic in Sparkling Graphite over Black with 115k on it. No mod plans to speak of, other than adding Euro market amber tails. It needs a few little things but overall I'm quite happy with the purchase.

Went for an early morning hike and grabbed a few pics of the "new" wagon. It's been a nice driver so far and my wife finally understands why I've been raving about the e9x and e82 platforms for so long. In my other cars she has been too focused on the third pedal to enjoy driving them.

So far on the Sparkling Graphite car I've replaced the engine air filter, cabin filter, and am waiting for a cooler day to do a power steering fluid flush. Euro amber tails are on order and I picked up a headlight cleaning kit. The lenses are pretty yellow and faded and I'm hoping to avoid buying a new set or tearing these apart to swap new lenses in.

The passenger side mirror motor doesn't have full range so I'm shopping for a new pair. I'm going for somewhat of an uncommon swap and am on the hunt for an LCI set of dumbo ears for the added visibility.

@ubersteuer where would you acquire replacement lenses from? I've been contemplating new lenses on mine as I don't think a typical clear coat refinish will do the trick and don't want to replace the whole assembly.

Nice new touring btw!!

My headlights were really cloudy, yellow and the finish was quite rough. I was fairly certain I'd need new assemblies or lenses. I'd at least give one of the headlight restoration products a try first. It's well worth the $20 and an hour of your time to see if it works.

I came across a couple of youtube videos showing the headlight disassembly process and some lenses on ebay. The uncertainty of the quality of the lenses, cutting into the lights to pull them apart, and the use of caulking to reseal the lights made me shy away from that method. I was going to fork out for a new pair of OEM Euros with the white reflector if the restoration didn't work.

Here are my results, hopefully they last -

Nicely done. I've used those $20 kits on my old cars with pretty good success. Only thing is my headlights have a spider web crack appearance to them. Likely from living in Florida it's whole life. Driver side worse than passenger. Zoom in to see the cracks.

Let me know any thoughts.

Agree a lense swap is out, way too involved with too many opportunities for errors. I would rather throw down for new oem units and try to resell the old units.

Mine had similar spider webbing in some areas. The rougher sand paper will cut through a lot of that and the sealant will fill in what remains. I just wonder how long the sealant lasts... only time will tell!

Got my Apex FL-5's installed. I'm going to need a small rear spacer but I think they look great on the car.

This is the mod you want. Nice pick up!

BMW Performance Carbon Strut brace, and as well as the carbon filter delete with K&N filter projects this weekend. Nothing crazy, but sure made a noticable difference in how the car drives. Crappy pics....but oh, well.....😁
