is it possible to code the AUX to headunit while keeping the 6FL?

Hi, my car is 2009 and has CIC with MULF basic, it has hands free system and only AUX with no USB under the armrest. The AUX is wired from the head unit.

I previously added an Android 10 screen system and had the combox retrofitted by a shop for Bluetooth streaming purposes. So he didn't really rewire the AUX to the combox, which was fine until I tried to retrofit the 6FL on my 2009 model.

The Android has the audio signal that goes to the AUX-IN at the head unit's quad lock connector, and everything works great until 6FL comes in.

The problem is that once I coded the 6FL VO, the AUX signal is set to the combox which is not wired there. Once i remove 6FL, AUX goes back to head unit but then the USB doesn't work.

Is there any way to code the AUX signal to the head unit? I tried all the possible parameters I could find on the internet, but with no success yet.

Or alternatively, code the USB under the armrest to work without coding the 6FL VO while keeping the AUX at the head unit.

Thanks for the help~~

Little confused, do you have combox or mulf? If you mulf you have to modify the wiring, probably the same for combox as well. The AUX needs to be wired into the MULF. I had the same issue when doing my MULF2 high retrofit.

Edit, just checked wiring diagrams and confirmed aux is wired into mulf and/or combox, whatever is fitted to your car, so you will need to rewire it if you want it to work.

I just installed an AVIN unit in my e93 with a mulf-hi. The armrest Aux wasn't working, due to a break in the ground connection from the mulf to the aux port.
This helped me to re-code the aux to use the head unit aux.
Thanks!!
