ive been talking to local shops.

Appearently the M5 e60 calipers will work with our 335, possibly m5 f10 as well.

also been told the porsche cayanne 18z calipers can work, which are very easy for find a set for front 200-300 used, not sure on rear fitment.

anyone can confirm this?

That is an excellent option!

Does anyone knows if the rear rotors from the f30 can fit a E92 M3? I'm doing a rear end swap of the M3 but don't want use the M3 rear rotors as they are 350x24 would rather use the rear rotors from the F30 since those are 345x24 and what match up better with the F30 kit I'm buying.

thanks Feuer... I'm trying to figure out the best approach to this since i already have the M3 rear and was gonna get the F30 performance brakes for the fronts and it comes with the rear calipers. Can you tell me why they won't fit?

I got the M3 rear end for $500 came complete with everything including the diff which has LSD. So for that deal made sense to just swap the rear end over since it's complete with brakes as well but didn't want to use the M3 rear brakes since I'm buying the F30 BBK.

Yeah, $500 is a good deal. However, there a few factors to consider: brakes as you found out, different shocks, M3 diff is wearable item and if high mileage need to be replaced, not easy to reinforce the diff (super easy on non M subframe with VWETISH lockdown), custom prop shaft need to be made, and more $$$ in labor. When all is said and done for a lot of people just getting a LSD designed for the car would be a better deal.

The work I'll be doing myself, shocks came with the rear end is bilstein b8 had less than 1500k on them, how i know? the car was a friend of mines and he totally it so he sold me everything for $500, custom prop shaft as well is $300,
so all its costing me is $800 and my time lol, if i went the other route the LSD is $2500 alone and I would still need to buy the M3 rear upper control arm upgrade kit that's over $900. I'm just gonna buy the F30 BBK and use the fronts only and sell the rear and reuse the M3 brakes. Thanks for the info

This discussion is for another thread but:
-m3 rear upper control arms are not an upgrade
-LSD is from $1000 in parts plus installation on AT 335i (new and superior to M3 LSD)

Yep, I'm running an MFactory LSD.
Better than M3 since no discs to worry about.

They will clear but more importantly you need to share you discovery regarding rear brakes installation. It will encourage a whole lot of people to do this mod themselves.

Not the same, but the brakes fit without problem together with ARC-8, 9J18 ET42 with 5 mm spacers up front and 10 mm rear. Tires are Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2, 265/35R18 square. They run super wide with about 280 mm width. Pulled the fenders, modified the front bumper by replacing the rear mounts and also extended the camber adjustment holes for increased negative camber.

They should.
You will need to check the barrel clearance.
The spokes clear.
I have EC-7 in a 19" and I have more than ½" of clearance.

Oh very nice, and these shouldn't require the extra machining I hope? When I look up the part number for that Meyle listing, I get: 34216864053 which is a 320x20 rotor.

And the second link is just the same Zimmerman rotor I linked, but machined? Good information, thanks.

I started the swap today as you kno I'm doing the M3 rear end with the F30 BBK. Wasn't able to complete everything yet and didn't get to take any pic but I will tomo, the fronts for the F30 is p&p for us the rear not so, but with the M3 rear end it was much easier as I don't have to mill down the calipers cause I'm use my E93 rotor which was crossdrill/slots from zimmerman, they fit perfect with the M3 hub no need to enlarge the holes also since the M3 use bigger bolts like the F30. I'm trying to figure out how to wire the pad sensors since they are different from ours I know I have to cut and join but the old pad sensors 2 wires are red and yellow while the F30 pad sensors are gray and white not sure which goes to what . And Don't seem to remember if it was cover in the post about what wires goes to what, just remember that most choose not to use the pad sensors. Has anyone here use the F30 pad sensors? Can you tell me what color goes together please

You can use Part number 34356789440 which has the right plug for e9x theyre like 10 bucks on eBay or just cut and solder the ones you have onto the wiring from your old sensor im not sure if they are a sensor or just a contact that polarity doesn't matter.

Onto more important things - do M3 hubs fit 335i? Are there any other bits that i would need to convert to get it to fit ?
