Think I paid about £80 for the arms from a guy in the states off here.

As for the toe, hmmm can't remember off hand buddy.

Fair dos. It's the ball joints that tend to not last too long though in the toe arms for some reason as a few different brands have the same issue of knocking after only a short period of time. That was the reason for going with just solid bush style ones.

What a thread. Just spent a few cups of tea reading through it. Lovely car. Almost the ultimate in OEM+ with the front bumper, boot lip, interior, skirts etc etc with the chassis and stopping power to back it all up. Lovely car mate and great choice of mods.

Hi Ben,

seriously much appreciated on the comments. It's always nice to have such positive words said about all the effort lol.

Still yet more to come as always.

Thanks,

Raj

Latest update of this little build of mine.

So as can be guessed with the for sale thread of the 313's I've changed shoes.

I've run BBS rims on a lot of my previous cars. So when a set came up I just got a little excited. Figured even though I do genuinely love the 313's as an OE rim they are just a bit to standard lol.

So off come the 313's and on go:

They're BBS CH-Rs (8.5/9.5 fitment) in satin anthracite with stainless rim protector. They even came with the same MPSSs which was a bonus.

Also a couple of weeks ago I got the RB inlets fitted. They were a real pain in the ... to have fitted but all on in the end. They certainly help spool up.

Thanks,

Raj.

Superb choice of wheel Raj, I ran a set of CH's on my E46 330d (with the Genuine BBS red centres they ended up coming from Japan)

and IMO are one of the nicest, understated wheels you can have on a car they don't shout modified like some wheels(nothing wrong in this of course) but if you're modifying subtily without shouting about it you couldn't of picked a better wheel choice. Love it

Cheers Steve. I've run CH's too previously on my old 330d as well as the RC's. They are a classic wheel.

Was considering the red centre caps but unsure.

I thought the 313's were the one but these really suit your car. I'd find the red centre caps a bit shouty but if you prefer a change in a few months time, it's an option

I personally preferred the 313's to this because of the concave, the 313's are bbs wheels as well, I suppose you know that already, being wide spoked, your Alcons looked a lot better in them as well, the CHR's though nice, do not stand out for me, ur fab set of mods deserved a braver, unique set of wheels man, forgestar for example, my opinion only of course, but great u've kept the mods going, good on u mate..

Is that an actual usable garage on a semi new housing development?

Thanks buddy. Yeah I was torn between these and the 313's. Still undecided on the red centre caps.

Cheers and appreciate the comments tbh. I was soooooo unsure about moving from the 313's (exactly because as you said they were so open spoked and concaved). But then these are lighter by comparison and stronger tbf and they are wider so no spacers now and just generally a bit more sporty. Will work better with the perf diffuser later on lol.

Mods will never stop lol.

LOL. Tbh it was a completely standard new build single garage so decided to knock it down and build something more suitable.

You'll see better pics of it throughout the build thread but this was taken by Phil when I swapped his lights out for the LCI's:

Nice. It's insane that unless you're dropping £600K or so (around me at least) the garage is little more than a cupboard with an excessively large door.

It's one heck of a garage though! It's clean as hell and it's heated! It's also got rubber floor tiles so no crawling round on cold concrete. I've been in my share of home garages and nothing comes close to Raj's - trust me on that! ?One day I hope to have something similar....
