Media adapter help
Hi guys
Hoping someone can help. I bought an iPhone 4/4s media adapter (part no. 84.21-2 199 392-04) to plug into the armrest. I was hoping to use the iPhone as an iPod to play music as it no longer has a functioning SIM card. However after plugging it in I cannot for the life of me find it on the CIC ?? Does the adapter need coding to the car ?? I have a 2012 e91 335d with professional nav. When I have checked my vin codes I have 6AA, 6AB, 6FL, 6VC, 609, 612, 615, 616, 620, 633 & 694 which I believe are all the codes associated with the nav/phone system. If anyone can shed any light it will be much appreciated. Thanks |

That has a picture of an iPhone 5 which makes me hesitant as does a lot of listing on eBay, can't find it for the 6 with an actual picture of one. Might be worth download the BMW connect app on the iPhone and then trying again mate, might possibly help, I am new to the CIC game and just getting my head around and seeing what I can do.
