I was going off that fact that's what this member used for his 135i caliper in the rear. Unless that somehow doesn't clear the e-brake in which I need to figure out something else.

Seems like he only went with the 535i f10 rotor to avoid having to "grind" or remove dust shield in the back. So the 135i 2 piston caliper bolts right up to the 335i rotor if you don't care for the backing plate/heat shield or trim it up. My apologies, I missed that when I was reading that thread.

I was going to fit the 340mm version discs with blue 4 piston calipers on the front of my 2009 335i are there any issues with the mv4 225 wheels clearing these calipers? Looking at it theres plenty of clearance just wanted to make sure. Thanks.

Ironically the bigger 370 mm discs would have more room because they place the calipers further out and because the wheels are concave there's more room

I can't for the life of me find a RHD m3 master cylinder. I did find a similar one on eBay that has 27 and 22 stamped on it and the m3 one is 26 and 22
https://picclick.co.uk/Brake-Pump-TR...105463180.html Will this work ? The number seems to correspond to the bore of the cylinder itself https://picclick.co.uk/254mm-Diam-TR...812513453.html

Anyone know ?
It would seem that the 5/6 series brake booster is even bigger ?

5/6 series uses a TRW booster and master, as does the X5/X6.
You cant use a master designed for a TRW booster in an ATE booster as the pushrods are not adjustable and i'm sure there are other physical constraints. |

The f80 caliber mounting point steps the calliper position out 5mm in radius which in turn lets you run a 10 mm bigger rotor in diameter

eBay says it arrives 27th June so I guess I'll find out then. Might buy an ATE booster for cheap just to mock up how I'm going to make it fit ....

So can the F80 calipers be used with appropriate wheels? I have a set of 513M wheels, and the local guy I got the wheels from is also selling the F80 brakes... |

What is the confusion?
F80 calipers are the same caliper as the F30 callipers. They are stamped as 370/380 on them as they work with either discs - depending on which car they are being mounted to. As you are fitting to a E series car, the option you have is to fit the F80 M3 calipers with F30 370mm rotors - this is plug and play. If you want to use the 380mm F80 rotor, this is not plug and play. Also, yes the F80 calipers with 370mm rotor will fit under 513M. ![]() |

Thanks guys,
Should have better phrased my last question.. So can the F80 calipers be used with appropriate wheels? (on an E92) Obviously, the brakes fit behind these wheels as they are OEM equipment. the question was about using the F80 calipers on an E92 and sounds like that is possible when combining them with 370mm rotors. |

He gets grumpy because he's helped so many people (me included) and I think it wears on him. If those rims fit on an e92 and that's what you have and you want this conversion you need the callipers with 370/380 stamped on them, 370mm disks(look through the thread there's part numbers. If the wheels you mention are from an f80 they will definitely fit.
