Any good independent BMW shops in Connecticut? Looking for somewhere that specializes on the N54 mainly.

Bimmer shops dot com. Put in your area code, do your due diligence in finding out about the company (online reviews and visiting) then make an executive decision.

I used AMW Foreign Car Service when I was in New Haven. Did good work but kind of pricey. They are very honest and will tell you like it is. Overall pretty happy with them.

Just had walnut blasting ($600) and valve cover replacement (part was about $500) done on our 2011 335. Total was $2,100–which is just about half of what the local BMW dealer was asking. Appears to be knowledgeable and is super helpful. Am getting some electrical work done on lift gate on our 535 wagon. Will report back after. But so far, happy with Helmut’s.
