Really nice shots of the London eye...what tripod do you use and what settings do you use for your camera? J

It's the Weston s Mare eye

I have a Manfrotto Modo which is compact and light but not too sturdy. The settings used were based on shutter priority and a mix of 10 to 25 seconds, f/22 mostly, ISO 200. Although there were odd differences between shots depending on lens. Used 28mm f/1.8 and 50mm f/2.8 on a Nikon D90.

Nikon 28mm f/1.8 and 50mm f/2.8 for these shots. Also have the D90 kit zoom lens 18-105 VR and a 55-200 VR telephoto

I've got the D80, how do you find the D90?

Love it. Moved up from a D40. Fits nice in my hand and the features/menus aren't too bad in getting the hang of. HD video is a nice add on as well, although I haven't used this too much yet.

I'm getting tempted to upgrade! Does it have the anti-dust feature like on the D300?

I believe it does. It's the same sensor as the D300 and shares a few other features. Read a magazine and with same settings there wasn't a lot of difference between D90 and the D300 picture performance.

I like the night shots! Went to london over the bank holiday weekend and took this photo forgot my tripod but it worked in the end with a bit of improvisation

Its the corner of Oxford street and park lane by marble arch. First time i have played about with slow shutter speeds.
