Radiator problem manual or automatic

Hi all

Currently have an issue with a radiator. I ordered the part from the US and imported it to my country base on that my car e90 320i which is an automatic and uses part #17117559273.

The vendor does accept to take it back but it cost almost as much as ordering another one and importing it here. I am still saving a lot compared to the $600 the stealership wants.

The radiator that came has the bottom connection sealed please see picture, but in the original that is open. Could it possibly work if I just open it somehow or is it internally very different? Is it because the one I received is for a manual transmission car?

Old radiator

New radiator (notice seal)

I don't know if it will work, but it looks like the oil cooler connection.

Open or cut your old radiator.
See if there is a valve there or is it just open.
If open.... Great drill it...
Connect via straight hose with a C clamp.

If valve..... Don't know.
