Uneven Tire Wear
So I purchased my 2007 335i from a dealership in Tennessee in May and drove it home without any problems. A few weeks later, leaving to get dinner an error warning appeared my tire was low. I had a nail, of course. $700 later and after changing the tires I was puzzled to find uneven wear. Today, I got an oil change and after picking my car up from the shop I noticed I have a warning light for both brakes, which is odd. I've followed the threads where you have to hold the BC button and reset it but it will not go away. Anyway, I have found that my front tires have very strange excess wear on the inside of the tire. Additionally, my rears had it too which I noticed after the shop told me they were worn unevenly. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Rotating 2 instead of all 4. I was a bit surprised to see that my 09 328i was 32 psi cold front, 38 psi cold rear. My brain went, huh...So BMW wants me to put extra wear on the outside of my front tires, then rotate them to the rear and essentially overinflate to balance the wear, reversing when rear tires rotate forward. Then combine it with road pitch for runoff and yikes, tire upkeep can be a headache. Everything I have read on this board on my car says "follow the door", so I am doing just that.

Alignment should fix that, but also look to see if any bushings are worn/torn/blown. Bad bushings can cause the wheel to wander and tire to wear out like that.

This is happening to me as well right now and I also bought my car in Tennessee oddly enough. If you look at the shoulder of your tire, it looks like the tread has separated and is moving out towards the face of the rim. I'd stop by a decent shop and ask them to take a look and ask about tread separation.
