I bought that Traxxas Raptor for $250 and an extra $50 for the charger. I have been playing with it daily. Trust me, it’s fun.

I bet, but I'm not dropping $300 on something I will barely use.

The fact that it was over 12 feet in the air is tough no matter how much it costs, but I agree.

My son (he's 4) is asking for a remote controller car for Christmas. Any solid ideas on what I should get him? I'd rather spend a bit more and get something that lasts rather than something cheaper than will break in no time.

More than happy to stay within the Traxxas family.

At about that age I got my son MicroX Racing 1/24. It's RTR, pretty durable, yet still really fast and fun. I got one for myself so we can race since it's the right price (cheap!).

You can put all kinds of lights on it. It’s a 2wd so even though you could fit larger wheels and tires, it would rub on the body...

Since there is zero chance I’ll be owning an e30 M3, bought the 1/10 scale last summer.
