BMW performance exhaust expensive??

Whats up every one

so ive been looking into the performance exhaust. and i have been reading what other people have to say about it and many people say its way to expensive but from what ive noticed its in the same price range as all the other exhaust on the market.

my dealer offered me 1500 installed for it and i wont have to worry about warranty issues and it sounds pretty awesome.

borlas 1200
corsa 1600
remus 1300

they all seem give or take the same price so why is everyone saying its to expensive??

Can anyone give me feedback if they have it and how they like it. (i have the n55)

I just paid $1,509 for the PE exhaust (including install and taxes). The sound is awesome. I use to always drive with my music blasting but now I find myself turning off the music and just listening to the exhaust. Highly recommended!

IMO it's a definitely worth the price for the 328i.. the sound transformation is huge and definitely louder and better.

However, on the 335i, it sounds a little deeper, but the sound is subjective. 335i stock sounds pretty good already, not sure if it's worth the huge price tag. You really need to get someone in the local area with the PE upgrade, and listen it for yourself.

is there anything else that sounds similar to the Performance exhaust? Ive literally listened to tons of sound clips but cant find anything thats similar besides possibly catless DP's and stock exhaust (e90 335)

Hard to drop $1500 on just mufflers...

The BMW PE on the N55 sounds a LOT better than on the N54, so make sure whatever video you're watching is with the N55. And revving the exhaust at idle does not speak for the sound at all, you need to go for a drive to appreciate the thing. Beaaautiful sound.

$1500 installed is to be expected.

As I told you via PM, you won't be disappointed.

I think I paid about 1600 installed for one. Sounds good, not real loud if you shift at 3,000 RPM's or less, but over 3500-4000 it has a nice wail. I just drove 3,500 miles on a road trip and it never got intrusive.

Great exhaust and sound but too expensive for just mufflers. I'd rather a full cat back for the same price. You will lose some weight and get a few more ponies.
