Diminished value claim
so state farm says that I have to prove the car has diminished in value after the accident or they say it hasn't , anyone gone through this before and have any advice? much appreciation in advance

never heard about diminished value claim or being asked to prove it? will try i've had one filed on my a previous ride..

Carfax takes things like theft, accidents, rebuild titles, etc into account and spits out a $ adjustment factor for the value of the car based on the data they find. If the accident shows up on carfax it is possible that you could use that as a basis for the drop in value.
