m3 rear sway bar

Just a quick question. Can anyone confirm that the e92 m3 rear sway bar(22.5mm) works specifically for e90xi's? I know it works for e92's, but i don't know about e90's. I was looking through the compatibility list and someone had said they didn't think so, but that was years ago and i'm sure people have tried or have done it.

I'm fairly certain the AWD cars cannot use RWD sways. UUC is the only company I'm aware of that makes a rear sway bar for the XI/AWD cars. Their product page shows different RSBs for RWD and AWD.

Xi can use the rear sway bar from RWD counterparts.

It cannot use the front sway bars.

I run M3 rear sway bar on my Xi and UUC Xi Front Sway Bar.

So are you running it on an e90 or e92?

Also anyone try running the e93 m3 rear sway bar on an e90? It's 23.6mm as I made the mistake while purchasing and have the bar already ugh...

I have an E92 M3 Rear Sway bar on my E92. I'm pretty sure it's the same for E90. E91 or E93 would likely be different. It's best to check part numbers to see if they are the same or not.

Cool thanks, I'll take your word for it. If anyone else knows differently I hope they drop a comment.

Slightly off topic but, how noticeable of a difference would one see with an upgraded sway bar? Do you need to upgrade both to notice? Only on the track? Mine is a daily driver, but I like to whip it around.

I have a rear m3 sway on my xi. Unless you can diy or have it installed for cheap, I would not recommend. I barely notice a difference.

Was night and day for me but I had UUC Xi in front first before going to the rear. Custom alignment settings also help further.

Just for future reference and people who might look at this thread, since I had the e93 bar available I tried seeing if it would fit. It does not, the angle is just slightly off on the bend that makes it hit one of the subframe arms. Also the car feels much more planted in the rear, but i don't know if that was because I upgraded to KW's too.
