Timing chain/ camshaft

Hi guys

2011 335i here n55

Recently changed the valvetronic and now car just randomly stalls on me and does not start now. Ista says AOB4- starter motor operation & incorrect camshaft installation.

I have taken the valve cover off again and tried to turn the engine by hand but it’s extremely difficult.

My question is, does anyone know how to do the camshaft timing on these.
I believe it’s at TDC and the crankshaft pin that goes under the starter is in, but I am stuck on how to proceed further, can anyone advise
