Hello fellow Bimmer enthusiasts!
I'm somewhat of a newbie here, but have following along this e90post since I bought my first BMW, a "new to me" 2007 E90.
Car had been neglected by previous owner, but as a result I got the car for a great price.
So far:
1) Replaced water pump
2) Replaced yaw rate sensor
3) Replaced clock spring on steering column
4) Replaced fuse to operate cigarette lighter. Alas! Power to radar detector & cell phone!!
5) Replaced front seats (had mat sensor error on passenger side, found great deal on both seats from a 2009 E90). Still having what I believe are KCAN/programming issues with the lumbar features.
6) I had error for adaptive headlight, pulled bumper to remove light assembly & do thorough assessment *
~pulling bumper revealed some damage to passenger side-passenger xenon AHC, broken passenger lamp mount bar, and showed that bumper cover had been damaged, with very poor repair done to interior side.
{I've done some plastic repair on bumper cover rather than replace for now, so if you see me in the Cinci/NKY area with primer on front bumper, please wave!
7) Replaced (with used) matching set of AHC lights from TBM (member from Ontario at e90post). Lights here pretty scratched up, did my homework and used 3M headlight restoration kit with good results. No more errors and fully functioning AHC headlights now.
8) Replaced OEM amp in trunk and subs under the seats to yield a pretty amazing hifi sound system.
$4,100 car + $1,800 parts/repairs so far.
Looking to get into the coding world, would appreciate any advice as I continue to learn more about these amazing and complicated driving machines!
Should have front bumper painted and installed in next week or so. I've got some "extra" parts that some of you may be interested in. If so, please PM me! Hoping to get this thing in good enough shape to go to a few of rallies this summer!

Yes! There should be a sizable group at this point. There is also a meet in Cinci later around 6-8pm I believe that people will be cruising to.

Anyone in NE Ohio have recommendations on places to get an alignment? Putting new suspension with camber plates on the M3. Looking to do a track spec-ish alignment. Not sure if you guys know of anyone that has that kind of experience.

There's a place called Dampers Automotive off Loraine road in Cleveland that we used to take all our vehicles to. Best mechanics I've ever gone to. If he doesn't do alignments, just ask who they recommend. We've gotten several great recommendations from them

Ask for Rick and tell him the Boychuk's sent you :-)

There is a place in Munson called Koala Motorsports that specializes in BMW's that could help I think. I went there to have my rear fenders rolled on my 335i. They had track spec BMW's there they were working on at the time. They seem pretty legit and knowledgable

Swedish Solution in Cleveland Heights does my race alignments on my SCCA track cars. Ask for Matt, he races too and will understand your needs.

I wouldn't recommend running at IFO, you might get two runs for your $30. Unless you are a competitor, I wouldn't do it. But its always thousands of car... We have a few BMW guys rolling with our group if you want to join shoot me a PM

Hey guys:

Im in need of some Push clips to hold the coolant hose to the thermostat and or water pump. I have a 2011 BMW 335xi e90.

I would post pics of the item I need but I can't seem to get it to work.
