Nice E39 ///M5....
I coveted this car back in 04-05 when I sold my M3, but could not afford it because I was going through a divorce. I had to settle for an AMG C Class, which was nice, but whenever I saw an E39 M5 I was bitter....

I'd rather have an E39 M5 than an E60 M5....

+1....but barely. The S85 is so gnarly, but the E39 looks timeless. I still think they're some of the most stately and handsome sedans on the road today.

I was so tempted to get an E39 instead of the E90.
Agree that it's a timeless design. Just couldn't find one with low-enough miles & got nervous about its being 10+ yrs old. |

Yeah, I'm not planning on driving it much. The 335 is my daily, but I do think the E39 is a timeless design. Hopefully that continues!

Passed inspection today. Now I can finally start driving the car around! (I had a xenon bulb out, and it took forever to get the replacement)
I should be making the C&C debut of the M5 on March 30.
