Fob stopped working all of sudden
Fob was working fine..
Made a trip to wickes to get Bark loaded up came home tried to open the boot with the fob not working tried other buttons not working either.. I remember when I bought the car had this issue at that time I had to cut open the rubber tube and solder the wiring as it broke common fault in touring. Could it be the same problem again funny it was working when I unlocked the car at Wickes but when I got home stopped working.. Is there anything else which can cause this problem. I tried to find my second fob guess what can't find it .. |

three reasons
1. wiring in a rubber to rear glass with spoiler (can show some codes if read using bmw software) 2. diversity amp under spoiler is damaged with water and dying (can show some codes if read using bmw software) 3. battery in fob dead ( in that case car will show you key sign few times before)

Most likely the hinge harness that you have addressed before. Passenger side needing repaired as it started to open the boot when I stuck the car in reverse then the driver side needed looking at to repair rear light issues.
