What tire pressures did you guys run? Did anyone out there have an AT? Seems overheating is much more of a problem in the AT. I've felt like the 335i really has a nice punch out of the corner but ultimately it seems to lose that punch right around 100mph... Until I got the Procede. I wish we had more tracks around here. Sounds like a blast.

You know I was starting to ask a lot of questions about tire pressure this time and I have a plan for the next time at the track. I filled to 35 cold this time. Last time it was 30. This time it got up to 45 hot which I think is probably too much. Next time I'm planning on letting it bleed out to 40 hot throughout the day.

I have a MT and no overheating problems. Funny you say it loses punch around 100. That was actually the exact opposite of what I experienced. Seemed like around 100 it suddenly got a second wind! It was actually a little intimidating when you are doing 100MPH around an oval and suddenly there is an extra burst of power. No Procede, all stock!

As a preliminary matter, I just want to comment how great it was to meet many of you there! Randy I hope your wife had a great time both days!! Whoever you were in the AW 335t...that is a beautiful car man! I also met a fellow silver e92 owner with gorgeous wheels (sorry...I forgot your name but enjoyed chatting). Those of us in B must have been running pretty similar times since we never crossed paths on the track.
Hey there! That was me... and thanks for the compliments on the rims!

I will provide a proper write-up/report on my car, its config... and my experience over the weekend... SOON...but since you started the ball rolling with your vids... here are some still photos to for everyone to see! :-)

You work for Bridgestone or something? If you do..I am friends with Adam Firestone...the one that owns/runs the winery.

Nope... don't work for B/F. But they're very nice to me so I gladly repay the kindness with some well deserved product promotion.

The RE-01Rs performed at an incredible level! I had R compound guys coming up to me the entire weekend, all eagerly looking into moving to RE-01Rs for their cars (mostly instructors running modified E46 M3s).

I saw you're car out there too. Kinda hard to miss with the bright green nose.

I was in the D group, 1st timer, but it was def fun, and I def want to go again soon!!

Glad to hear you had a good time... there are lots of events happening all over California... with lots of clubs you can participate with... check out the websites of Willow Springs, Button Willow and Laguna Seca and look at their calendars for more information.

You may also want to check out the autocrosses put on by the San Diego chapter... great way to build on your car handling skills.

As for the bright green nose.... yeah.... it was a bit "out there." My mechanic put the tape in my hands the day before and warned me not to even think of talking to him again if I didn't tape the car up before I went on the track. So, you know... gotta do what your mechanic says...

The first four photos (the real good ones) where the car is stationary were taken by me. Photography is a hobby of mine and I shoot with very high-end glass. The moving photos (where I'm driving), were shot by the event photographer. The photos are "good" but clearly are not shot with the same grade of glass and were also all shot as JPEG (not RAW and post processed as my shots were done).

Yeah. I am going to go to Willow Springs in spring, april or may right? First I have to get an oil cooler. I'm jan/07 production. Then I may or may not have a friend of mines fabricator fabricate me a bigger more beefy oil cooler. Because oil temps were really bad when I was at the track 299 at one point.

Hi Daniel,

I am not running any sway bars on our project 335i. Look at the body roll!
