if you need walnut blasting ( MD, DC, VA )

Hey everybody. I just wanted to share my experience with Clem. I found him on this forum and am so glad that I did. If you live in MD, DC, northern VA, Clem is the man for walnut blasting, and all kinds of other maintenance you may need done.

He did the walnut blast on my car along with some other work. Adam clearly knows his way around these cars. He knew every little detail under the hood. Had every specialty tool you can imagine. Not to mention his garage is like the ultimate man cave. Heck, he even fed me while I was there. Plus he took the time to show me things and answer all kinds of questions I had about various things on the car. Try finding that kind of service at a BMW dealer or some other shop.

He is incredibly nice to deal with and is clearly experienced at working on these cars. I am sure most of you already know Clem, but I just wanted to post this in case there were some out there that didn't know. I HIGHLY recommend him. I will definitely be taking my car back to him for other maintenance/upgrades.

Good to know. I've been wanting to get him to walnut blast my car but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Thanks for the review.

He is located just outside Columbia, MD. Well worth the trip if you are anywhere near there. I drove over an hour to get to him and it was well worth it. I will easily make that trip again and again.

Clem is the man. Clem was/is an enthusiast and many years ago when he had his 335, he started holding get-togethers, where people helped each other with minor modifications, we called them install parties. That grew into a place with some of the best service for mods and maintenance, with an additional focus on M5's. Haven't been there in about a year, but Clem is top-notch. I've had lots of things happen in his garage. Some of them:

1) DP back exhaust
2) Downpipes
3) Intercooler
4) RB Turbo installation
5) Fluid replacments
6) Valve Cover Replacement

and learned a ton about BMW's and some tricks to maintenance, and service.

A+++ all around. One pic attached from an install party 6.5 years ago.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm not taking in very much work these days as I am buried in projects and parting out of E39 M5's, which is my main focus. I do offer the walnut blasting if you're cool with weekdays.

Good to hear from you, Scott, Hope all is well. Stop over some time. Things look much different and I finally got the entire driveway paved. And I have way too many M5's!

I only do N54's. Diesel's are a whole different animal.

I charge $350. The problem is finding time to fit people in.
