Shock & Strut hardware?

I have 109,000 miles on my 07 BMW 335i sedan. I had the shocks and struts looked at by the local shock and strut shop, where all they do is shocks and struts and related parts. He said my shocks and struts are still good but that I had maybe 5 to 10,000 miles left before I should replace them. He said that I should be looking at which shocks and struts I want etc.

I have the regular shocks and struts, no sport set up.

I am deciding on either koni sport yellows and Eibach springs or koni FSD with the oem springs. I plan on driving the car about 4.5 more years. I just use it as a daily driver.

1) If I lower the car, will I have a hard time getting a jack under the car. I do have a lower sitting jack to begin with, but just trying to think ahead. It's sort of a tight fit getting it to the central jacking point in the front.

2) What hardware should I replace? Upper mounts, lower mounts, bump stops, strut mounts

Please advise...

1) You can cheaply build "mini ramps" with planks, one or two layers. Might be just enough to get the jack under.
I use two jacks, lift partially from the side which gives me plenty of room for the second jack to raise using the central lift.

I have a 2010 328i with sport suspension and I'll be swapping the struts/shocks for a set of Koni FSD's this spring. I'll be changing out the following suspension parts as well:

Part # Item
31306775098 Front Upper Shock Mount
31336767500 Front Upper Spring Pad
31336764372 Front Lower Spring Pad
31331094749 Front Strut Dust Boot
31332225377 Front Bump Stops (M-Sport)
33506771737 Rear Upper Shock Mount - Upper Section
33506771738 Rear Upper Shock Mount - Lower Section
33526768544 Rear Lower Shock Mount
33536764419 Rear Upper Spring Pad
33536764420 Rear Lower Spring Pad
33526764418 Rear Bump Stop Support Cup
33536770350 Rear Bump Stops (M-Sport)
33506767010 Rear Shock Mount Sealing Grommet
41147057297 Rear Spring Perch
32106765235 Tie rod assembly - Left
32106765236 Tie rod assembly - Right
31356765933 Sway Bar End Link - Left
31356765934 Sway Bar End Link - Right

You might wish to check RealOEM for the part #'s for 335i. Also, rather than the OEM rear upper shock mounts, I'll be getting the Dinan Rear Upper Shock Mount Kit 10mm (D110-0008) instead, which offers 10mm of extra shock travel.

Hope this helps.
