BMW E90 preLci M sport hood swap

Hello, my preLci E90 non m sport hood started to receive some rust and I decided its time to do a change, after some browsing I found 2007 M sport hood, difference from visual is that M sport hood does not have "eyelashes" while non M sport does have it, if I do swap does it look weird with grilles or does it have some weird spaces? Thanks.

2007 is pre lci.
Lci hood does not have the cutout for the grill piece.
You will have a funny looking gap there.
You can get lci grills to fill the gap.
